Kizuna. The tie between people.
Where are you starting from?
Most people arrive with the same question in different words: is this realistic for someone like me. The answer depends less on your grades than on where you are starting from, what your family can spend, and how much time you have before you want to leave.
Each of these starting points has a different first class, a different exam and a different timeline. Find yours below, and the conversation starts from something real rather than from a brochure.
Kizuna Education Foundation Hub is in Maharajgunj-3, Kathmandu, at Narayan Gopal Chowk. Counselling is free, for students and for parents.
After +2, aiming at Japan
The most common starting point. N5 and N4 here, then a Japanese language school in Japan, then a vocational college or a university from inside the country.
Going to Korea for work
The EPS-TOPIK route. Basic and advanced Korean here, model exams under real conditions, and registration through the Employment Permit System when HRD Korea announces it.
Working already
Specified Skilled Worker and other work routes into Japan, with JFT-Basic and skill test preparation to match. Timelines are tighter and the paperwork is heavier, but people take this route every cycle.
Still deciding
A free conversation about whether either track fits you at all, with nothing signed. Plenty of people leave that conversation deciding against it, and that is a good outcome if it was the honest one.
Two languages. Two destinations.
Both start in the same classroom in Maharajgunj. Where they lead is different, and so is the exam at the end.

Why students from Nepal choose Japan
Japan asks for the language first. Almost every route in - language school, vocational college, university, or the Specified Skilled Worker track - wants a documented Japanese level before it will look at anything else. That is why this is a classroom before it is a consultancy.
What the language opens is wider than a degree. Japan has a large vocational sector alongside its universities, so a student whose record would not support four years of academic study abroad often has a practical route that leads straight into work.
And Japan needs young people. An ageing population and growing demand across IT, healthcare, hospitality and engineering means a graduate who speaks Japanese is competing in a market that is short of them.
Six stages, one thread

See how it works01Discover
We sit down with you to understand where you are starting from, what your budget is, and which of the two tracks actually fits. Sometimes the honest answer is neither, or not yet.
02Plan
We set the level you need, the exam you are aiming at and the date you are aiming at it. Working backwards from the exam is what turns a vague intention into a timetable.
03Learn
Classes begin. Japanese from N5 through N4, or Korean from basic through advanced, in a classroom in Maharajgunj with a set schedule.

Questions
Studying in Japan, answered.
Requirements and limits are set by institutions, immigration and HRD Korea, and they change. Confirm current rules with us before you plan around them.
What classes does Kizuna Education Foundation Hub run?
Two language tracks. Japanese at N5 and N4, with JLPT, JFT-Basic and skill test model exams. Korean at basic and advanced level, with EPS-TOPIK model exams. After the language, we help students with study-abroad applications to Japan.
Which Japanese levels do you teach?
N5 and N4. N5 starts from the writing systems and basic grammar; N4 is the level most Japanese language schools and work routes treat as a real starting point. Higher levels are usually reached in Japan itself.
What is the difference between the JLPT and JFT-Basic?
The JLPT is the general proficiency certificate, graded N5 to N1, and is what institutions ask for. JFT-Basic tests everyday Japanese at roughly A2 level and is used on the Specified Skilled Worker route. We prepare students for both, and run model exams for both.
What are the skill test model exams?
Sector-specific tests sat alongside JFT-Basic on Japanese work routes, covering the practical knowledge of a particular industry. We run model versions under exam conditions so candidates know the format before they pay to sit the real one.
Do you teach Korean?
Yes, at basic and advanced level. Basic covers Hangul, pronunciation and the core vocabulary. Advanced works on listening speed and reading under time pressure, which is where most EPS-TOPIK candidates lose marks.
The next chapter is waiting.
It starts with one class, and one conversation.
